LOCAL NEWS - AUGUST 11, 2021 - Learn 3D imaging training with archaeologists on the Lower North Shore! CFBS was speaking with Manek Kohlatkar, an archaeologist currently working for Archeo-Mamu, the Centre de services scolaire du littoral, and the MRC Golfe du Saint Laurent, to help preserve aspects of local heritage by bringing it to life through 3D image technology. FREE, interactive mini-workshops, are being offered all along the Lower North Shore in the coming days and weeks to learn where elements of history and heritage are brought to life through 3D modeling. A course is being planned for this fall with the Centre de services scolaire du littoral, those trained will have the future opportunity to work along side archaeologists to digitally catalogue artifacts!
