Mr. Andrew Etheridge is the new mayor of Blanc-Sablon // M. Andrew Etheridge est le nouveau maire de Blanc-Sablon.

The Municipality of Blanc-Sablon president of election, Miss Karine Benoit, announced on the Municipality of Blanc-Sablon Facebook page at 9:33pm on October 30, that the new mayor was Mr. Andrew Etheridge.

CFBS was in contact with the municipal office this morning to obtain the election information, in total there were 910 eligible voters, with 267 persons attending the ballot stations. Of the 267 ballots made, 7 ballots were rejected.

The remaining 260 ballots were counted as follows:

Andrew Etheridge = 141 
Eric Jones = 119 

Congratulations to Mr. Andrew Etheridge, he will be sworn in as mayor at the Municipality of Blanc-Sablon office on Nov 4.

La présidente d'élection de la municipalité de Blanc-Sablon, Mlle Karine Benoit, a annoncé sur la page Facebook de la municipalité de Blanc-Sablon le 30 octobre à 21h33 que le nouveau maire était M. Andrew Etheridge.

CFBS a été en contact avec le bureau municipal ce matin pour obtenir les informations sur l'élection, au total il y avait 910 électeurs éligibles, avec 267 personnes présentes aux bureaux de vote. Sur les 267 bulletins de vote effectués, 7 bulletins ont été rejetés.

Les 260 bulletins restants ont été comptés comme suit:

Andrew Etheridge = 141 
Eric Jones = 119 

Félicitations à M. Andrew Etheridge, il sera assermenté comme maire au bureau de la municipalité de Blanc-Sablon le 4 novembre.
